Túnel d'Envalira represents an essential communication route allows the connection between the Principality of Andorra and the South of France, connecting the Carretera General 2 of the Principality of Andorra with the Route Nationale 22 of France.
The tunnel, listed as the highest tunnel in Europe, is located between altitudes of 2,043 and 2,052 meters, has a length of 2,879 meters and is a two-way tunnel with one lane per direction.
